On June 9th CESPIC, part of the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”, organized the conference “Diversity, coexistence and policy-making”


The European Center of Peace Science, Integration and Cooperation (CESPIC), part of the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”, organized on June 9th, the conference “Diversity, coexistence and policy-making”.

This was designed to analyze the issue of coexistence between diverse social groups, with a special focus on actual policies taken by policymaker in different scenarios. In other word, diversity and coexistence must be considered on only as a positive approach, but also with a normative approach.

Welcome address was held by Prof. Bruno Giardina, Rector of the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”.

In this activity, moderated from Prof. Raul Caruso, director of CESPIC, H.E. Mr. Alberto Cutillo, Ambassador of Italy, shared his opinion too about this topic.

Also, we had the pleasure to hear the opinions from Prof. Richard Caplan, University of Oxford; Prof. Esteban Klor, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem; Prof. Mansoob Murshed, Institute of Social Studies (Den Haag) and Coventry University Horizontal; Mrs. Alba Çela, Albanian Institute for International Studies.
