Rector’s delegate for “Italian Language and Culture”
In November 2023, Professor Natalina Hoti received a nomination as the delegate of the Rector for Italian Language and Culture. Since 2014, she has held the position of The Head of the University Language Centre at the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”, where she has also been a Professor since 2005. Notably, Professor Hoti currently serves as the person in charge of the Centre for International TELC examinations and is a member of the Department for Bioeconomic Strategies in the European Union and Balkans.
In addition to her role at the University, Professor Hoti is a distinguished Professor of Philosophy of Language at the Institute of Philosophy-Theology "Our Lady of Good Counsel" in Shkodra. Since 2012, she has been the official translator for the Ministry of Justice in Albania and a trainer for the Ministry of Education, specializing in the training of educational employees.
Her educational background includes graduating from the Scientific Master's Study Program in Italian Language at the University of Tirana and completing a Bachelor's Study Program in Law at the University of Shkodra. In 2015, she earned her doctoral degree at the Aldo Moro University in Italy, specializing in Italian Linguistics and Philosophy of Language. Professor Hoti is responsible for teaching various subjects, including Italian Language and Culture, Scientific Italian, Spoken Italian, Academic Writing, and Philosophy of Language. Her expertise lies in the scientific disciplinary sectors of L-LIN/01 and M-FIL/05.
Professor Hoti's extensive scientific research focuses on Linguistics, Italian Studies, Philosophy of Language, and Translation. As a dedicated researcher, she has authored numerous articles published in reputable scientific journals and actively participates in various national and international conferences and symposia.
