“Our Lady of Good Counsel” Foundation has undertaken a sustainable energy production process, building a photovoltaic system, at the university-hospital complex of Tirana. This is an important economic innovation which is also offered as an aesthetic example to protect the environment.
Everyone knows the message of the Holy Father "Laudato Sì" of 2015 which now represents a proclamation of good practices. Pope Francis stated in his message, that we must take care of our common home, that is, the Earth, rejecting the irrational opinions that oppose those who raise the alarm about the degradation of climate changes. Pope Francis states that "a human being who claims to replace God becomes the greatest danger to himself".
Under this positive echo, the conference titled "Energy comes from the sky" will be held at the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” on April 22, 2024, from 10:00 - 12:00, which also coincides with World Earth Day.
The conference aims to bring reflection of this topic, with the intervention of authoritative figures from the academic world, the Church, and the Albanian public administration.
