International Order and Instability. Usa, Eu and the Balkans
CESPIC ha organizzato un convegno dal titolo “INTERNATIONAL ORDER AND INSTABILITY. USA, EU AND THE BALKANS”, il 4 Novembre 2019 presso l’Università Cattolica “Nostra Signora del Buon Consiglio” di Tirana.
The role played by news is very important for the university, as much as the academic education of students. In order to answer to this challenge, the European Centre of Peace Science, Integration and Cooperation (CESPIC), at the Catholic University "Our Lady of Good Counsel", organized a roundtable entitled "The Italian law against food waste and its impact on poverty ".
The roundtable is intended to deal with aspects and criticalities of diverse societies with special attention to religious diversity. A special focus will be on 'policies', namely on how policy-makers take into account religious diversity in order to shape public policies. The latter appears to be crucial when building long-lasting peaceful societies. Needless to say, it also appears to be particularly crucial for Balkans.
An Observational Cross-Sectional Analysis of the Correlation between Clinical Competencies and Clinical Reasoning among Italian Registered Nurses
Ability, knowledge, aptitude, and skill are the terms identified in the literature as the attributes of the concept of clinical competence. This implies that in order to act competently in their own context, the nurse must be able to make decisions which mainly depend on the ability to put clinical reasoning into practice.

Aims: To identify the current presence of stereotypes about the nursing profession in Italy and to understand how gendered processes and modalities are regulated and expressed in the physician-nurse dyad, and the implications for professional identity and autonomy.
Health literacy in stroke disease: A systematic review
Background: Health literacy has been demonstrated to be a factor that influences patients’ ability to retain clinical education and counselling. Aims: To describe: (1) the importance of health literacy in the prevention of stroke; (2) the correlation of risk factors with health literacy; and (3) the importance of health literacy in post-stroke outcomes.
